Pronounced “Queen-ah-mon”. It originated in Brittany, France and translates into “buttery cake” in French. This pastry is laminated with butter and sugar, rolled and baked in rings to create a soft sugary interior and caramelized exterior. After baking, the pastry is topped with a sprinkle of Fleur De Sel and a simple syrup with grand Marnier syrup.
